My Current Cleansers

Nude Cleansing Facial Oil - £28 for 100ml (I have the sample size), Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm - £34 for 100ml, Super Facialist by Una Brennan Rose Hydrate Calming Creamy Cleanser - £7.99 for 150ml

I have been using these cleansers on rotation for quite a while now and I can safely say I love them all. I've already spoken about the Emma Hardie Moringa Balm in my review of it here, but I am really enjoying using these other two products as well.

The Nude Cleansing Facial Oil is my favourite thing to use before bed as my first cleanse. This oil is so nourishing and great a dissolving make-up - even stubborn mascara. Packed with Omega 3, Vitamin E, Sunflower Oil, Soybean Oil and Jojoba Oil it leaves my skin feeling plumped, moisturised and soft afterwards and is great for night time rejuvenation.

The Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Calming Creamy Cleanser is a gentle and soothing cream cleanser that feels really moisturising and leaves my skin hydrated after use - not dry. It smells beautiful like roses and hasn't irritated my skin. I use this for my first cleanse in the morning and follow it up with the Emma Hardie

All of these cleansers keep my skin clean, balanced and nourished which is what I always look for in a cleanser.

What cleanser do you use? Have you tried any of these?

My Current Make-Up Picks

 (From L - R)

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Natural Tan - I love this concealer for covering up any redness or blemishes as it doesn't accentuate any dry areas, the creamy texture is comfortable and sets nicely with powder.

MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel - If you want to know how I've been using this product then see my most recent review here.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW25 - I rediscovered this concealer recently and I bloomin' LOVE it. It lasts all day. I use it under the eyes and I really recommend if you have trouble with concealers fading.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Foundation in BD50 - I am really enjoying this foundation at the moment and have a review coming for it soon so keep an eye out!

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder - I've been liking this for setting my make-up but mostly my under-eye concealer work as it has quite a bit of coverage in it itself and the yellow colour helps to brighten darkness.

Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Arabesque - A really beautiful shade that I've been really enjoying wearing, it's a peachy pink shade with a creamy colour. Perfect for everyday and looks great with a neutral smokey eye.

MAC Eyeshadow in Espresso (Shades in my custom MAC palette from left-right: Satin Taupe, Naked Lunch, Soba, Espresso) - I've been using Espresso to smoke over my eyeliner to create a smokey but defined outline. I like to use browns on my eyes during the day as they are much less harsh than blacks and don't close up the eye as much.

MAC Pro Stainless Steel Palette - While in MAC Pro recently I picked this up on a whim and I must say it's brilliant and I use it everyday! I always used to pump product onto the back of my hand when applying my make-up which is just unnecessary mess and and some of the product always ends up sinking into your hand which is just a waste. I use this palette to dispense foundation and concealer onto and the finger hole makes it to easy to hold and use. I simply wipe it off with a wet cloth after and I'm all done! (This can only be found in MAC Pro stores and not online, it retails for around £15).

Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Peach Whisper - My favourite blush for everyday, it's a lovely peach colour that makes my cheeks look vibrant and full of life.

MAC Eye Pencil in Coffee - Probably my favourite eye pencil aside from MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy, Coffee is a deep brown colour that is really easy to apply and blends out nicely with a smokey eyeliner brush and some eyeshadow to create a smoked line.

Lancome Hypnose Mascara in 01 Noir - My favourite mascara at the moment! You can see my review on it here.

Illamasqua Brow Cake in Thunder - My brow product of choice for quite some time now, I use it with my MAC 204 and MAC 208 to get perfectly groomed brows. Review here.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in 6 Warm Natural - I always take this powder out with me if I need to touch up during the day. It doesn't cake or look dry no matter how much I re-apply. A real staple for me at the moment, you can see my review on it here.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush (Core Collection)
Real Techniques Contour Brush (Core Core Collection)
MAC 204
MAC 208
Sigma Concealer - F70

Current Nail Look: Calgel - Sexy Siren

Just a few snaps of my latest Mani. I get my nails done quite regularly by my lovely nail tech Karen who is amazing - I am always getting compliments on my nails! This time I opted for 'Sexy Siren', a shady by Calgel. I've gone for this colour before and had to go back to it as I loved it so much!

Calgel is a new generation gel polish that doesn't damage the natural nail and is semi-permanent - this polish doesn't chip or fade which I love as I hate painting my nails. I think nail polish is really old fashioned when you consider all the gel alternatives that dry in minutes under UV lights, don't chip or fade and keep a high shine for weeks on end.

If you've never tried gel polish I really recommend it as there a lots of good brands that offer 'at home' kits to do yourself if you don't want to keep paying to have them done.

Some snaps of previous nail looks I've had in the past few months....

Hope you enjoyed this post! What nail colour are you currently sporting?

Make-Up Wishlist - February

So I've done a few 'wishlist' posts before, but this one is strictly make-up. There are a lot of products that I'm lusting after at the moment, and my birthday is coming up so I hope to pick up some of these things in the very near future!

1. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush in Cherub - I've been dying to try Daniel's Watercolour blushes for so long, the idea alone intrigues me and they get such amazing reviews. Cherub is their bestseller and looks like my kinda colour! He is the nicest guy too which is always nice to know - he's always talking to bloggers and make-up lovers on Twitter (he replied to me once *screams*) so check him out @danielsandler Love you Daniel *blows kiss*!

2. Estee Lauder Pure Colour Shadow Paint in Chained - I decided I had to have this when I saw it in one of Anna's (ViviannaDoesMakeup) videos, Chained is a gorgeous deep bronzey colour which I think would be great for a really quick smokey eye applied all over the lid with a finger.

3. Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch Primer - Really intrigued to try this one as I really don't get on with Benefit's The Porefessional primer after trying very hard to like it - too greasy for me. This Clarins primer promises to smooth out lines and imperfections which is what we all want, right? I'm very keen to try this under my eyes to hold onto my concealer.

4. Illamasqua 'Blush Up' Brush - A great idea from Illamasqua as I always apply my blush to my cheekbones not the apples of my cheeks - I feel it sculpts and lifts my face much more. This brush would make it so much easier to get that chiseled strip of blush.

5. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Powder Pink - Having never tried a cream blush product before I am really keen to get my hands on this Bobbi Brown one. The price point is quite reasonable as it's a multi-use product and the colour looks subtle with a beige hint which is different from the peachy pink blushers I usually go for. (My fav being Laura Mercier's Second Skin Blush in Peach Whisper).

6. Kevyn Aucoin 'The Celestial Powder' in Candlelight - I first heard about this highlighter from one of my all time favourite make-up artists Mario Dedivanovic - Kim Kardashian's make-up artist. He used this on Khloe Kardashian for a photoshoot and it looked absolutely beautiful on her.

7. Kevyn Aucoin Pure Powder Glow in Myracle - Another one introduced to me by Mario, he used this on Kim Kardashian for a red carpet look (*edit* I found out that the shade he used is actually called 'Shadore' and is not quite as bright as Myracle *edit*) and it contrasted beautifully to her bronzer as it brightened up her face so much. It looks very shocking in the pan but looked beautiful on the skin.

8. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - Need I say anything about this product? I need to get my mitts on it. Medium to full coverage with a luminous finish?! Yes please.

9. theBalm timeBalm Concealer - I had never heard about this product until a few days ago when I saw Karen from Makeup and Beauty Blog (She's hilarious) say that it was one of her all time favourite concealers close behind MAC's ProLongwear Concealer which I really like. The word 'balm' just seems to get me every time. (I'm sure its my Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm obsession that has spurred this on.) The texture looks creamy but is apparently non-drying and has great staying power. It retails for around £12 on Feel Unique also which is great!

Have you tried any of these products? What products are you lusting after this month?

Mac Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel Review

MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel - £17.50

I stopped by MAC Pro in Carnaby St the other week and I decided to pick up a product that I have been lusting after for a while. The 'Lustre Drops' are described by MAC as:

" A bronzer that applies like liquid sun. Water-based, beautifully smooth to apply with added pearlized lustre. Inspired by the popular M∙A∙C Face and Body FX. Provides sheer, natural-looking highlights
with a luminous, shimmering finish. Limited edition. "

Pink Rebel is a gorgeous champagne/gold shade with a hint of pink and gives a really natural glow to the skin.

I've been using the lustre drops on the high planes of my face - cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupids bow. You can also mix the drops with your foundation or moisturiser for a natural glow all over - making this product so versatile. You also don't need a lot, a tiny dot will do for highlighting the face and a few drops to mix with is fine.

This product is great if your skin is feeling dry or dull from the cold weather or if you're feeling drained - it helps make your skin look healthy and dewy.

For me, this is a great product to have in my collection as I am a big fan of glowing, healthy skin! You can pick up this product up online here or from any MAC store.

My Shaving Weapon: L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil Review

 L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil - £17.50

This product is my absolute favourite thing to use in the shower as it's so luxurious and moisturising. The thing that really surprised me about it is the fact that it turns into a creamy milk when mixed with water, and is actually really good at cleansing your skin as well as nourishing it - an all rounder!

The thing I love this for most is shaving - it's superior to any shaving foam, gel or cream I've ever used. It creates the perfect slippery surface for your razor to glide over and hasn't irritated my skin at all. I suffer from really itchy legs caused by shaving and this makes my skin feel much more comfortable after shaving. I use it for legs, underarms and bikini line and its works a treat! My skin in these areas feels so soft and smooth afterwards, and I can safely say I don't think I could ever use a shaving foam again.

A pricey yet gorgeous product that I would happily repurchase.

What's your shaving vice?

Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in 6 Warm Natural

Just a quick post about the powder I picked up the other day while shopping in London - the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder

I can never just 'pop' into Selfridges, I always ends up with a purchase, although I was quite proud that I only picked up this one product. I had been wanting to try this powder for ages as I was looking to replace my current 'handbag powder': Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish. I love the Mac powder, however I was looking for something colourless, with a translucent formula that was light and perfect for a quick powder during the day that wasn't going to make me cake up or look too 'full coverage'.

I also wanted a powder with a mirror in it, so I can see what I'm doing while I'm powdering instead of having to use a separate mirror.  I picked up the shade Warm Natural 6 which is absolutely perfect. I was going to order one online without being shade matched as they are translucent, however I thought it best to be matched up in person to avoid too much of a white cast.

The powder comes in Bobbi's sleek black packaging and comes with a powder puff which I don't tend to use. I've been using this powder with my Real Techniques Powder Brush as it's large and distributes the powder lightly and evenly. I have been loving this powder since I got it and have been reaching for it daily. It's also great for setting your foundation and concealer quickly if you're running short on time and don't want to faff around with loose powders. Just a quick sweep through the t-zone and under the eyes.

This powder hasn't caked up on me or become too heavy despite sometimes re-applying throughout the day. A thumbs up from me!

The Sheer Finish Pressed Powder can be purchased from any BB counter and on their website.
